The 6M Tractor is engineered for exceptional maneuverability and visibility, regardless of the task at hand. The sloped hood design on the 2580 mm wheelbase cab models enhances visibility for front loaders and front-mounted attachments, allowing operators to clearly see their attachments—such as buckets, pallet forks, and bale spears—ensuring precise alignment during attachment and detachment.

In tight spaces, a short wheelbase is essential for achieving the necessary turning radius for effective maneuvering. The 6M features a 17.8 cm (7 in.) shorter wheelbase (240 cm [94.5 in.]) on three models ranging from 95 to 125 engine horsepower. This design offers a remarkable unique turning radius, making it ideal for a variety of applications, including cleaning barns, working with livestock, baling hay, roadside mowing, and more.

These engines utilize advanced four-valve, high-pressure common rail (HPCR) technology, achieving injection pressures of up to 2500 bar (36,259.4 psi).

INTELLIGENT POWER MANAGEMENT (IPM)

Every 6M Tier3 and higher emission model comes standard with Intelligent Power Management (IPM), delivering a significant boost of 14.9 kW (20 hp) for high-demand operations. This feature is especially beneficial for rear power take-off (PTO) tasks that require additional power, as well as for transport applications exceeding 15 km/h (9.3 mph).

Operators can tackle heavier loads in PTO applications such as mowing and baling, even in thick, dense materials. When the engine detects increased load, it automatically provides the extra horsepower needed to navigate challenging conditions. This results in improved productivity through more consistent ground speeds, faster acceleration, and enhanced capability to maintain desired transport speeds.

All Tier 3 and FT4/Stage V 6M Stage 3A models include IPM as standard equipment. Additionally, hydraulic IPM is available as an optional upgrade, enabling IPM functionality for applications with non-stationary high hydraulic loads.

One of the standout features of the PowrQuad™ PLUS is its declutch function, which allows for seamless range shifting without the need to use the foot clutch pedal. By simply pressing the declutch button on the transmission shifting lever, operators can effortlessly change ranges up or down.

For specialty applications such as vegetable farming, orcharding, peanut harvesting, and other operations that demand extremely slow speeds, creeper speeds are also available with the PowrQuad™ PLUS transmission. The AutoQuad™ Plus transmission incorporates all the advantages of the PowrQuad™ Plus while adding the capability to automatically shift between four PowerShift™ gears based on engine RPM and load conditions. This feature allows operators to select their desired range while the tractor intelligently determines the optimal gear within that range for enhanced efficiency and performance.

For specialty applications such as vegetable farming, orcharding, and other operations requiring extremely slow speeds, creeper speeds are available with the AutoQuad™ Plus transmission. Depending on the configuration, AutoQuad™ Plus transmissions equipped with creeper gears can achieve a minimum ground speed of 0.27 km/h (0.17 mph), while still providing a top speed of 50 km/h (31 mph).

COMMANDQUAD TRANSMISSION

CommandQuad™ PLUS transmission

The CommandQuad™ PLUS transmission combines the impressive reliability of the AutoQuad™ transmission with enhanced operator convenience and productivity through increased automatic shifting capabilities. This advanced transmission system utilizes push-button controls for range selection via a single lever, offering two operating modes: AUTO mode and manual mode.

Manual Mode: In this mode, operators can shift through speeds and ranges without the need to use the clutch. Simply move the control lever forward toward the "+" indicator or backward toward the "-" indicator to adjust seamlessly.
AUTO Mode: In AUTO mode, the tractor automatically shifts at predetermined shift points based on engine load, allowing for effortless operation and optimized performance without manual intervention.
